Terry Meeuwsen is an American TV personality and co-host. She worked for the Christian Broadcasting Network and is also an author and singer.
Terry Meeuwsen’s Early Life and Education:
She was born on March 2, 1949, in De Pere, Wisconsin, USA. However, there is no exact information about her parents and siblings. She holds American nationality and her star sign is Pisces. Regarding her ethnicity, she belongs to the Caucasian ethnicity.
During her high school, she was selected homecoming queen and also was a cheerleader for three years. She graduated from De Pere High School. However, she did not attend college.
Terry Meewusen’s Professional Career:
Right after her high school graduation, she traveled and performed with the singing group ‘The New Christy Minstrels’ and soon left the group to enter the Miss American pageant. In 1972, she became Miss Appleton and Miss Wisconsin the same year. The following year, she finally was crowned Miss America 1973 and was the first Miss Wisconsin to win the Miss America title.
After her reign as Miss America, she started her TV work at WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee in 1978. Meeuwsen co-hosted “A New Day” along with Pete Wilson. Eventually, she resigned from the station in 1986 and took the position at The Christian Broadcasting Network in Virginia Beach, Virginia working as a co-host in the news program ‘USAM’.
After co-hosting many times on the 700 Club, she became a permanent co-host in 1993. She sat beside CBN founder Pat Robertson. Moreover, as an author, she has written four books, Christmas Memories in 1996, Near to the Heart of God in 1998, Just Between Friends in 1999, and The God Adventure in 2005. She is also a director of Orphan’s Promise, a part of CBN aimed at aiding vulnerable and orphan children globally.
