Arun Nayar’s Early Life and Education:
He was born on December 1, 1964, in Burmantofts, England. He is the son of his father Vinod Nayar and his mother Gunnar Nayar. Arun grew up with his brother Nikhil Nayar. His parents moved to Indian after the birth of his brother. Not long after, his parents got divorced and he began living with his mother Gunner, who started her own textile business in Mumbai.
Arun attended Millfield Boarding School. Furthermore, he graduated from Oxford University in Physics with a bachelor’s degree in science. Later on, he attended Imperial college and graduated with a master’s degree in Physics.
Arun Nayar’s Professional Life:
Initially, he worked in Mumbai, and slowly, like his mother, he opened his own textile business. Gradually, his mother’s textile business became the largest textile company in India. With his hard work, he got a high reputation in Mumbai and later he opened his own software company, Direction Software Solutions, and expanded his business in software development. He became the Global Head of Resources and the Vice President of Software Paradigms International.
Moreover, he came into wider media attention after his marriage to British model and actress Elizabeth Hurley. Elizabeth is a famous face of Estee Lauder and began her career working with the company without modeling experience. Soon after, she got many contracts and worked with various brands and their advertising campaigns.
As an actress, she got famous for her role in the movie Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Her other films include Passengers 57, Dangerous Grounds, Bedazzled, and more. On television, she appeared in the 5th season of Gossip Girl as Diana Payne.
