She was born on 23 October 1994, in Kalispell, Montana, USA. She is the daughter of former model Paul Qualley and actress Andie MacDowell. Margaret grew up with her two siblings Justin and Rainey. Her parents divorced when she was four and raised her partly. She has American citizenship and belongs to English, French, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Dutch, and Belgian ethnicity.
