He was born on February 22, 1978, in Long Beach, California, USA. He is the son of popular record producer and composer Pedro Rivera and his mother, Rosa Saavedra. Juan grew up with his five siblings, three brothers, Pedro, Lupillo, Gustavo, and two sisters, Rosie and Jenni, who sadly passed away in a plane crash in 2012. He belongs to Mexican heritage and his star sign is Pisces.
Similarly, he graduated from the University of Long Beach, California with a degree in Communication Sciences.

Juan started his career in music at the age of 16 in 1995. He released his first album El Atizador and the same year, he released his second album El Atizador, Vol 2. Eventually, started getting fame from his talent and began releasing more albums. In 1999, he released Juan Rivera Y Los Corridos Mas Broncudos. Similarly, the next year he released Los Cuates Colgando and Oeden de Apprehension.
Likewise, as an actor, he appeared in La dinastia de Los Perez where he portrayed Jose Luis Perez in 1994. In 2001, he had an extra role in Jefe de Nadie. He performed at the2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards. His father, Pedro Rivera, on the other hand, is a very successful record producer and composer. Juan Rivera is a happily married man. He met his wife Brenda when she was 17 and changed his life for good. Just after their six months of dating, she was pregnant with Juan’s first baby. Their relationship was hard initially but, their love bound them together, and faced difficult situations. After two decades of being together, they finally decided to tie their knots.
