She was born on September 19, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. She is the daughter of the famous former basketball player and coach Doc Rivers and her mother Kristen Rivers. Callie grew up with her three brothers, Jeremiah, Austin, and Spencer. All of them are basketball players. She belongs to African-American and possibly French heritage and her zodiac sign is Virgo.
Regarding her educational background, she graduated from Florida Gatorade High School. Furthermore, she attended the University of Florida.
Callie Rivers’ Professional Career:
Her sporting career began when she was a student at Winter Park High School, Florida, and later on, transferred to Florida Gatorade High School. She was fascinated by sports from an early age and also belonging to a family of athletes, it was in her genes. Rivers played for her school’s volleyball team setting many records. She even took the team to numerous state titles.
Moreover, after her graduation, she played for her university’s volleyball team. She was named AVCA All-America First Team during her senior year. After her graduation, she signed up with Leonas de Ponce during the Liga de Voleibo Superior Femenino. However, she only played for a year and decided to retire from her career.
Her father and brothers, on the other hand, are well-known players as well. Doc Rivers was a very famous player on the Los Angeles Clippers and is currently the head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers. Her oldest brother, Jeremiah, was the player of Miga Vizura and the New York Knicks. Her other brother, Austin, plays for the Denver Nuggets since 2021.
