Early Life and Career:
He was born Jeffrey Lynn Goldblum on October 22, 1952, in West Homestead, Pennsylvania, USA. His father, Harold Leonard Goldblum was a medical doctor and major in the U.S. Army in World War II, whereas his mother Jane Goldblum was a radio broadcaster who later ran kitchen equipment and appliances sales. He has a sister Pamela and an elder brother Lee.
His other older brother Rick died at the age of 21 in 1971. He belongs to Russian and the Austro-Hungarian Empire ancestry. He grew up in a Jewish family.
