In 2011, he sold a Luger pistol owned by Howard Hughes, who used it in the 1930 movie Hell’s Angels. His further fame came when he appeared in the History Channel’s reality TV series Pawn Stars starring Richard Branson where he uncovered notable military artifacts. In 2014, he discovered and bought what he believes to be a false passport of Auschwitz concentration camp physician Josef Mengele.
